Robin's
approach to training stems from positive reinforcement within a holistic
philosophy that focuses on the dog/human relationship. Current
trends in training focus on the principals and theories of operant
conditioning - which fails to treat the dog as a whole. This
scientific approach ignores emotions. To deny an animal's emotions
is to distance yourself from him as a feeling being.
Her
experience of training people and dogs enables her to teach YOU how to
train your dog the right way the first time and have fun doing it!
You can rely on Robin's experience, teaching methods and integrity to
help you solve your dog training problems.

Throughout
training and beyond we will always be available to you through
telephone, email or chat services.

TIPS
FOR A WELL BEHAVED DOG!
-
Start
training your puppy early on
-
Train
your dog gently & humanely, using positive, motivational methods
-
Avoid
giving your dog commands that you can't enforce
-
One
command should equal one response
-
Avoid
giving combined commands - which are confusing
-
Use
your dog's name in a positive way rather than in reprimands,
warnings or punishment. He should trust you when he hears his
name.
-
KEEP
A LID ON YOUR ANGER
Training
should motivate your dog ~
not
shut him down.
